2012 Texas Race Schedule

The 2011 season of Off-Road racing in Texas has been an overwhelming success. Texas racers were afforded multiple races and venues to satisfy their thirst for desert racing and the 2012 season promises to be even Bigger & Better in Texas moving forward.

In an effort to improve on the success of 2011, Baja Racing of Texas (BRT) and Extreme Desert Racing (EDR) has worked together building their schedules for the upcoming 2012 season. This co-operation between BRT & EDR is an ongoing effort to establish Texas as a true desert racing destination for all racers, now and into the future.

The 2012 schedule is designed to give racers all the desert miles they desire and afford them ample time between races to repair and prep their vehicles.

We look forward to seeing all of your racers and fans in 2012.

Texana 250 March 1-4 - Texana Ranch, Blackwell Texas

EDR Firecracker 275 April 20-22

ODR/BRT Cinco de Baja* May 4-6 - Albuquerque, New Mexico

BRT Chupacabra 200 July 5-8

BRT/Cycle Ranch Fun Run and Test & Tune September 1-3 - Cycle Ranch, Floresville Texas

EDR Texas 300 Sept. 14-18

Chupacabra 300 Oct. 11-14 - Texana Ranch, Blackwell Texas

*This is a joint sanctioned event with Outlaw Desert Racing and Baja Racing of Texas.  The event will have the BRT points system. This event will count towards the BRT year end championship points. For the year end points championship BRT will use 2 of the three races allowing teams to remove their lowest point race.
